The question on the pub TV
Open instaquiz.app/tv on the TV’s browser or a laptop plugged into it and connect it from your phone. No app and no account.
No marking at the bar
Teams tap their answer and InstaQuiz scores it, with more points for faster right answers.
Nobody gives up at half time
Scores stay hidden until the podium, so the team in last place still has a chance right up to the wager finale.
Ready-made packs
General Knowledge, Science and Chemistry, London, Harry Potter, sport and music, written in-house with a fun fact for each answer.
A team drops out? It rejoins
If a phone locks or loses signal, it rejoins with its score when they open InstaQuiz again.
How the night runs

Before the quiz, open instaquiz.app on your phone, pick a pack and the rounds you want. Three rounds of 10 takes about 45 minutes, so two games make a full night. For quicker rounds, choose Mix it up with 5 or 8 questions a round.

Put instaquiz.app/tv up on the pub TV and connect it from your phone. The TV shows the 5-letter code and a QR code.

Each team joins on one phone in the browser, using the team name as their name.

Read each question out, open the answers, then reveal. At the end, tap to reveal third, second and the winning team.

A £5 party pass for up to 50 phones for 48 hours is planned for January 2027.
A plan for venues
A venue plan is planned for 2027 at £20 a month: your name and logo on the TV, your offers between rounds and a new pack every week. Register your interest on the pricing page and we will email you before it opens.
Questions people ask
Does every player need a phone?
No. One phone per team is enough. Teams can share a phone and talk it through before they tap.
What does the pub need?
A screen with a web browser (or a laptop connected to it) and Wi-Fi or mobile signal for the phones. Nothing to install.
Can I write my own questions?
Not yet. Today you choose from the ready-made packs. Writing your own quiz is planned for early 2027.
Can the quiz master play?
Turn on “I’m playing too” and you answer each question yourself, without seeing the answer first.
