Terms of use

The short version: be kind, play fair, and if something goes wrong with a pass you paid for, tell us and we’ll put it right.

Who we are

InstaQuiz is provided by Eelavan Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 09892770), registered office 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. Contact: hello@instaquiz.app. By using instaquiz.app you agree to these terms.

Using InstaQuiz

You can host and play free games of up to 8 players. Please don’t use offensive player names, try to break or overload the service, or use it for anything unlawful. A quiz master can remove a player from their game, and we may block anyone who misuses the service.

The party pass

The party pass is a one-off payment of £5. It starts when you begin your first game after buying it and lasts 48 hours. It covers games of up to 50 players, every pack and 5 AI-made quizzes. It never renews and there is no subscription.
Because the pass is digital content you can use straight away, you agree when you buy it that it starts when you first use it, and that you then lose the 14-day right to cancel. This doesn’t affect your rights if the pass is faulty: if it didn’t work for your party, email us and we will refund it.

The questions

Our question packs are written in-house and checked, but mistakes can happen. If you spot one, tell us and we’ll fix it. The packs, the app and the InstaQuiz name and logo belong to us. You may read the questions on our free web pages aloud and print them for your own quiz nights, including charity quizzes, but please don’t republish them.

Availability

We work hard to keep InstaQuiz running, but it relies on the internet and on services we don’t control, so we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or improve features over time.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for losses that weren’t foreseeable.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring a claim in the courts of the UK nation where you live.
